I have MS which obviously has its down sides - but if I didn't then I'd probably still be working a full time job and would not have been able to see the parts of the world we've seen, made the friends I've made and definitely not had the time to immerse myself in the wonderful world of fabric and thread. I am content with my life in a way that I may not otherwise have been. I think this proverb deserves a place on my inspiration board - to remind me.cat in tassiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18194913577570304127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-54646619538867332222012-07-25T01:52:49.773-06:002012-07-25T01:52:49.773-06:00yes. it has great power...and none at all. enjoy t...yes. it has great power...and none at all. enjoy the new eyes and never stop allowing more and more to make you wonder! :)Joe Madlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00689856999523884499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-53606717073400513092012-07-25T01:51:44.079-06:002012-07-25T01:51:44.079-06:00what a wondrous story, saskia! i remember dancing ...what a wondrous story, saskia! i remember dancing with my mother once...in the living room...in our pajamas...whirling around and around to the sound of music flowing from the old console television/stereo system! her nightgown knocked over a porcelain mackaw and broke its tail...eliciting a moment of sadness and tears...but the joy of the dancing overwhelmed us and we danced some more!

i hadn't thought of this in years....thank you for bringing it back to mind!Joe Madlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00689856999523884499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-25734065451545012182012-07-25T01:48:09.588-06:002012-07-25T01:48:09.588-06:00yes! the trick, then, is to fine that wonderful ti...yes! the trick, then, is to fine that wonderful time to contemplate and become more enlightened in the ordinary time!Joe Madlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00689856999523884499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-9882749109760902292012-07-25T01:47:22.467-06:002012-07-25T01:47:22.467-06:00yes! and even so, one sees the first side in one o...yes! and even so, one sees the first side in one of those infinite mirrors...and they are no longer the same...Joe Madlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00689856999523884499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-2168901351591878532012-07-24T21:34:09.405-06:002012-07-24T21:34:09.405-06:00Joe...I do love this proverb, so much to ponder in...Joe...I do love this proverb, so much to ponder in that simple set of words. So there we were: all three of us together in our bed and my husband having to take care of us and the dog and well, everything! It turned out to be a lot of fun: I read the collected Greek mythology to the boys and they were amazed at the whims and cruelty of these gods....we were 'forced' upon eachother, I loved every moment and did not have to worry about the many chores, as we had to rest so much, a blessing-in-disguise....Saskiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10974723368542754165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-47467077814316608592012-07-24T08:28:23.875-06:002012-07-24T08:28:23.875-06:00time away from the ordinary is a wonderful time to...time away from the ordinary is a wonderful time to contemplate and become more enlightened.deanna7treeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02707505639796548961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270328419517591210.post-17095810096247374892012-07-24T06:23:39.091-06:002012-07-24T06:23:39.091-06:00Like a mirror reflecting infinite mirrors... the r...Like a mirror reflecting infinite mirrors... the reverse side of the reverse side is something good to ponder!Valeriannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02621130622153365184noreply@blogger.com
