"clouds come floating
into my life,
no longer to carry rain
or usher storm,
but to add color
to my sunset sky. "
-rabindranath tagore

a little color is gently stitching it's way across the rusty sky, insinuating new depth. hinting at hues still to whisper across this quiet scene...

every new cloth is a journey. some are chaotic. filled with color and noise and celebration. others, like this one, tip toe softly across the imagination, instilling a more meditative sense of joy...

  1. the tracks stitches are making, introducing new colors to the rust-dyed shapes. Feels like a journey of movement is coming to life in the piece as you begin with stitch. Simple bits beginning the stitch journey.. Each new addition and photo keep me engaged in the process you are going with in this piece.

    1. the clothe is definitely more static before color begins stitching its way across. through. pulling me deeper into. circling the sun was almost like winding up. gaining momentum for what is to come...
